HOW KLEOS WORKS

A loop that finds the gaps, fills them and measures what happened

In our own test run (Oct 27, 2026, a production build in a new test workspace), Kleos took 2 min 31 s from entering a website to a 30-day plan of 26 pieces and a first post. A script clicked through the steps, so reading each screen yourself will take longer.

The loop, step by step

  1. Find the gaps.

Kleos reads your website, then finds the questions your customers ask and where competitors are named and you're missing, on Google and in AI assistants.

  2. Create.

It writes posts, articles and newsletters aimed at those questions, in your voice. Ask for a rewrite (2 free on every post and newsletter) or edit it yourself.

  3. Approve and publish.

You approve each piece, or an admin switches on auto-publish for a business. Kleos publishes on schedule to LinkedIn or X, your website (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and Ghost) and newsletters through ActiveCampaign on Growth and Pro.

  4. Measure.

Each week it checks ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Perplexity (plus Gemini on Growth and Pro) and shows who mentions you, who cites you and which competing brands are named, plus your Google Search clicks when Search Console is connected.

  5. Fill the next gap.

The biggest gaps become suggestions for what to write next, and “Do this for me” drafts the answer for your review.

Tracking shows trends. It doesn't promise you'll be recommended, and it doesn't prove what caused a change.

Your business analysis, 30-day plan and first draft are free. A card starts your 7-day trial when you approve your first post.

The cause

Customers look you up before they choose you.

Before customers choose you, they look you up on LinkedIn, Google, in their inbox, and now by asking ChatGPT. If you only post when you have time, you're missing from most of them, and a competitor who shows up consistently takes your place.

Four posts one weekend, then nothing for a month.

Marketing gets whatever's left after clients and product, so it comes in bursts. The quiet weeks are the ones customers notice.

AI drafts that sound like everyone else.

A blank chat doesn't know your customers, your offer or what you're allowed to claim. So you rewrite most of it, or post something generic.

Help that costs more than it returns, for now.

A freelance B2B article often costs $350 to $700, and agency retainers run to thousands a month. Worth it later. Hard to justify while you're still finding what works.

AI search visibility

“ChatGPT recommends my competitor, and I have no idea why.”

See who AI assistants recommend instead of you, and what to publish about it.

Sample data: the business, its competitors and their sources are made up.

How Kleos handles it

  • Real answers, not estimates: the ChatGPT and Gemini apps' own answers, Google AI Mode's results, and Perplexity with live web search.
  • Your customers' questions, asked the same way every week so results compare over time. Kleos drafts the first 10 from your website; edit them, import your own or add more lists.
  • For every answer: whether you were mentioned, recommended or cited as a source, who was named instead, and the sources the assistant relied on.
  • For each assistant: your mention and citation rates, and your share of mentions against the brands it names.
  • The biggest gaps become suggestions. “Do this for me” drafts the answer article, or a better version of a page you already have, into Review.

Kleos checks once a week, on purpose. New content takes weeks to change what AI assistants say, so a daily number mostly shows noise. Each week you get the trend and the next thing to write. ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Perplexity on every plan; Gemini on Growth and Pro. Weekly checks run on paid plans and never go into paid overage; during the trial they're off by default and you can run a check yourself.

What stays in your hands

Your question lists and competitor list stay yours. Add a brand an answer named as a competitor in one click, or switch weekly checks off. Every result is labeled by where it came from, and estimated answers are never mixed with real ones.

AI-assistant checks show where you stand. They don't promise you'll be recommended.

Your voice, your facts

“AI content will sound generic, or say something we can't back up.”

Your voice, your facts. Drafts that break them can't be approved.

A draft for Accord, one of our products, with Kleos's own check message.

How Kleos handles it

  • Your voice comes from your website and your “How you sound” setting, and you can correct it.
  • At setup, Kleos lists what your website says you don't offer yet. You keep or uncheck each one, and its checks hold every draft to them.
  • Every draft is checked before approval. A piece can't be approved while it says something you've marked “Never say”, names an integration or feature your product doesn't list as live, links to a page that doesn't exist, or promises something you can't send, like a guide you don't have.
  • Unsourced numbers are flagged for you to check, and never approved automatically.
  • 2 free rewrites on every post and newsletter, so “shorter” or “less formal” costs nothing.

What stays in your hands

You approve every piece by default. Auto-publish is switched on per business, and only by an admin.

Consistency

“We'll be consistent for two weeks, then fall behind again.”

A month planned ahead, drafted a week ahead, waiting for your yes.

Accord's real plan in Kleos, sped up.

How Kleos handles it

  • A 30-day plan built around your customers' problems, sized to your plan's monthly allowance so the month doesn't stall halfway.
  • Kleos drafts the coming 7 days for you automatically, every hour. Drafts come to Review unless auto-approve is on.
  • Approved pieces publish on schedule to LinkedIn or X, your website (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and Ghost), and newsletters through ActiveCampaign on Growth and Pro.
  • Every Monday each person gets an email with each business's results: how often AI assistants named it in the latest check, Google Search clicks when Search Console is connected, and what went out.

What stays in your hands

Nothing publishes without approval unless an admin switches on auto-publish for that business. The checks still run first, and anything they flag waits for you.

Why it works: problem-led content

People don't buy features. They buy a way out of a problem they already have.

Problem-led content talks about the problems your customers already pay to solve: what the problem costs them, why the usual fixes fall short and what works better. It's the difference between content people scroll past and content they recognize themselves in. Kleos plans every piece this way, starting from the problems it finds on your website and in what your customers search for.

Problem-led: about them

Your project didn't start late because of the work.

It started late because you were still waiting on the client's files and an answer to question 7.

Three things that cut the chasing: ask once, check answers before they're sent, and remind clients only about what's missing.

What do you chase clients for most?

  • Starts with a problem the reader has
  • Useful even if they never buy
  • Ends with a next step that fits

Illustrative example: both posts written by our team.

They recognize themselves.

A post about their problem stops the scroll. A post about your product rarely does.

They trust you first.

Helping before you sell shows you understand the problem, so they believe you can solve it.

They get in touch when they're ready.

Each piece ends with a next step that suits the reader: a guide for someone just looking, a conversation for someone comparing options.
